Directed by Lukas Huffman, Bloodroot follows two brothers from Vermont over the course of their lives as they walk the same path behind their childhood home. Shot with over fourteen different actors and over the course of all four seasons, the audience experiences the changes in their lives and the landscape that shapes them as they navigate their relationship to their home, each other, and challenging family dynamics.
Contributions to the short include dressing and styling actors in styles from the early 90's to present day and well into the future, and dressing over 14 different actors to fit the era they are supposed to be in- as well as prop and effects needs (simulating a stick and poke tattoo on camera, making a nose bleed happen on command, etc.)
